Have you ever been banned?: More than 5 times. Once it was a false accusation though. The owner accused me of greifing because I was new and on the server at the same time someone else was griefing. I was wondering how he caught the guy because he was invisible, so I asked, and he banned me.

Since when were griefers put on a global banlist by Notch and Jeb? I believe once I reported griefers on the MC forums (when I was a classic playing n00b) and got flamed.

notch and jeb_ don't run a banlist. They don't ban people from their game. They don't really do anything I think. And I'm not sure if you're allowed to attack just certain people by naming people and posting on the forums. Like said earlier, they got flamed by doing so, and you might be banned or get a warning.

The only banlist I know of is McBans, but that is really unreliable.

EDIT: and even if notch and jeb did run a banlist, it would be so easy to get around it, and not reliable at all; after all, offline servers would screw up the entire system.
