Before you go and report this, this is for the website.
I think we should have a Scratch Website app that gives us notifications when we get a message, we can post comments easily, and reply to things. We could also post on the forums if that's possible.

There used to be an app that allowed you to actually view projects, but it A. no longer works and B. got removed by Apple because they don't allow apps that interpret code .
As for this, it's possible. However, you really shouldn't make comments without viewing a project, so I'm not sure this is such a great idea.

With RHY's javascript player, possibly

I guess it'd be nice to have an app to let us check our messages. I don't agree with the commenting part though, for the reasons jvvg said.

Will the player work on mobile devices?
haven't yet checked myself, but it's javascript, so why shouldn't it?

You could reply to comments on your projects, and in 2.0 you can update your About Me or What I'm Working On.

That's what I meant except it would have notifications as we got messages.

Yes, RHY made a player that runs on JS instead of Flash (you know the deal about iPhones and Flash, right?)

Yeah, I do. Where can I find the JavaScript player?

It will on iOS, at least.

It will? Awesome! Then this app may be a pretty good idea.

I think we only should be able to reply to comments and use the forums.

There's only one problem... (maybe two?)
The iOS dev fee is $99 per year. Perhaps they can charge 99¢ for the app or something, but... (consider that one or two, but there are solutions... yet I'm not sure if the Scratch Team will be willing to do this... someone else could, however, like for the first app...)
