I was looking at away tom make my Civ 4 game more interesting by adding "dynasties" to the game where they would last until my nation becomes a republic. Anyway, I am playing as Rome, and since the leader of Rome is Julius Caesar, I renamed him Romulus, and had an entire dynasty of twenty chieftains named Romulus from 4,000 B.C. to 1780 B.C. I am currently in the Antius Dynasty. I found that writing the lifespan, personality, and traits to be too much work, because a new leader would come to power every three turns. Is there a way around this?

Yes he is.
I suppose you could have a list of various traits, personalities, etc, associating a bit of text to each of them, and then have the game randomly choose from the list.

you could recycle their traits and stuff... are you just implementing multiple different leaders for each Civ?

Its just for one civ. I got sick of writing Romulus the II or Romulus the XV, so I think I just call them all Romulus, but with different traits. I also tried to name each dynastaty of a city. Ex. Romulus for Rome, Antius for Antium, Kyosoya for Kyoto, etc.
