Hello!
Well - I need a space-related name for a short story I am writing. But - I am stuck. I really wouldn't mind if it was some kind of greek/roman/latin name or something that sounds "cool". Here are some names I thought of -
- Apollo
- Galactic
- Zeus
- Lux
- Aurora
- Nebula

"Acrux" sounds kind of cool. It's a star in the Crux constellation. Zeus sounds good though.
What's it for though? A character name, or the title?

People in science fiction stories usually have average names

Who said it was science fiction?
And, you said it yourself, they usually do.

What's space-related that isn't science fiction?

It could be a story about someone going to the moon or something. That's not really science fiction.

It sort of would be science fiction, because if it hasn't actually happened, and you're making up names for it, then you're suggesting something relating to science/space travel that could plausibly happen

Wait, you're right actually. I always thought science fiction had to involve things that aren't possible yet like teleporters and time machines. :x

It doesn't have to plausibly happen.
It's just fictional things brought on by scientific advances in the fake world. They could be completely impossible advances.
Hard science fiction is based purely on things that are possible.

Science fiction is just fiction with science involved. Space travel is science no matter if there are no aliens or futuristic stuff
