The PS3 and Xbox 360 were HD, but they only supported 720p on most games (very few were 1080p)

I find Nintendo the Early Adopters of gaming, in other words they're the hipsters of alot of our modern gaming consoles.
But other folks use Nintendo's tech as a poosh off for other additions to their consoles in which, making Nintendo's consoles Obsolete.

I got to experience the Wii U as part of the Wii U experience tour. Yep, they came to my city. And MAN, it is so super-duper-uber-schmooper-pooper--scooper FUN.

Release dates and prices have revealed finally! I do think it's a bit stupid that the white one is cheaper than the black (and only comes on it's own, with the black one coming with Nintendo Land and the Pro controller)
18 November in the US, 30 November in Europe, and 8 December in Japan. Idk why it's backwards XD
White = £250
Black = £300
Don't ask me what this is elsewhere because idk

Just guessing based off the conversion, seeming I hadn't heard the official prices until now, so I was basing it off the English prices.

I hate how Nintendo advertises Nintendo Land.

In the Wii U preview here, Reggie was like, "Metroid is coming to Wii U." My head exploded for a second there. But then he continued that sentence: "As an attraction in Nintendo Land."

Yes, Reggie. Everyone's going to buy your game because there's a Metroid minigame in it.

However, the minigame was based off the Battle Mii tech demo from E3 2011, and that looked really fun. But still, Nintendo wants you to think that Nintendo Land has a entire Metroid game included.

I think the Wii U will fail. Why? If it's $250, the tablet is probably going to have bad quality. It's it $350 or greater, the tablet may be ok, but the console will be too expensive.

What I've heard is that the WiiU will have 1GB for games and 1GB for general system stuff, whereas the Xbox has half a gig for both, RAM that is.

And the Xbox/PS3 has 720p graphics stretched to be 1080p, whereas the WiiU will have full 1080p graphics.

And Nintendo has loads of great games, Animal crossing and Zelda have kept me amused far more than any Microsoft or Sony game ever has.

Really, all I care about for this console is its game library.

The main reason that I hated the Wii was because it had EXTREMELY kiddy games and no cool awesome games. I mean, Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii were fun while they lasted, but now they're getting old. And by "cool awesome games", I don't mean COD or BF3 or any of that, but really, Nintendo needs to wake up and start licensing some cooler games! The only game on the Wii that has kept me entertained for a while is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which is actually, IMO, the best Wii game ever.

I saw that the Wii U has Assassin's Creed III, Batman: Arkham City (Armored Editon), Ninja Gaiden 3, which all look pretty cool.

What I'm really hopped up for is full-fledged, epic Metroid game. Now if Nintendo made something like Metroid Prime 4 or something in the vibe of the original NES game, then I'm all for it! Also, even if Nintendo made a new Star Fox or F-Zero, then that would be freaking epic.

What I'm saying is Nintendo has to start reviving their old franchises instead of justing milking the same freaking Mario game over and over again.
