i dont think you can really discuss the video without also discussing superiority of one or the other unless you adopt my idea that it doesnt suppost one or the other but rather makes fun of them both
Agreed.

Get a windows, lots of stuff you can't download for mac because it isn't compatable. On steam they have a mac section because the majority of games are windows exclusives.

Not to mention security issues and Java. The reason that Windows wasn't affected by the Flashback Mac virus or whatever it was called is that Oracle fixed the security issue there almost instantly, but Apple, because they make their own player and felt the need to operate in complete secrecy, made the patch weeks late. Also, I can't play most Java applets on my Mac, including Minecraft Classic and flyordie.com/go/

Hah, great Garry's Mod creation. I don't like GMOD Idiot Box, but that's a good scene.

Aaaand stop. This thread is supposed to be discussing the video linked in the first post, not discussing the superiority of one OS over another! I'm giving this thread a change to get back on topic because I found that video hilarious! I'll have to close it if it derails again though

I think that it does make a good point, marketing is just cleverly putting people into a mindset to see something as more attractive and it goes on everywhere! Better marketing doesn't necessarily mean a better product at all though, unfortunately![]()

I agree, and to the people who are saying Macs are overpriced, all Macs are only about $400 more expensive than PC counterparts, but if you think about the superior display, keyboard and mouse that comes with it, as well as the awesome OS, it's very good value.
And it's funny these guys are always having conversations, and Mac is always the smarty person and PC is always the sensible type, but PC always ends up running away or crying.
EDIT: And tri-booting is awesome on a Mac. It's seamless.

Still, it's based on preference. For me, it would be paying an extra $400 for something I don't really want. I don't particularly like their mice and keyboards and OS X isn't binary-compatible with many programs I love, including foobar2000 and Solitaire XP, as well as there being issues with their Java implementation (and I program with Java/Java-based languages).

It would have been ironic if it hadn't loaded for me. I also wouldn't have been able to appreciate the irony if it hadn't loaded for me. Having loaded for me, I'm able to appreciate irony that didn't happen
Funny anyway
