That's one of the things I need help with. I'm 99% sure it'd be fantasy, but as for the name and that kind of stuff, I haven't a clue.

Could I help? I like to do that sort of stuff, but I'm not very good at programming...

I think a sci-fi MUD would be really interesting.

Coffeemud isn't really set up for sci-fi. We'd have to re-code most of the code. I'll add you to the list in a bit. Also, you can help with ideas, as well as creating rooms (very very easy), and also just help out new players.

Tips: you can make fantasy into sci-fi by changing the names and adding a good dose of Science, unless you mean you've already put in names and maybe some kind of fighting system. Though, if you have to have it be fantasy, then I recently made up a whole world of random people and stuff. It's called Trasiot, so you could probably just call it that.

As for names: While original names are great, it's also great to get "inspiration" coughcough from name generators like Seventh Sanctum or Serendipity.

There should be a ladder going Up.

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

Re: Are Muds Still Cool?

Ok. I finished the topic HERE!

@Dinoclor That first room is the default room. It's probably going to be different soon.
@luiysia Yeah, the classes are already finished, as is the fighting engine. It would take a few days to recode everything.
