how do i have one of those icon things like when you comment and the picture shows up next to your name
and how do i have the picture things under my forum comments

The icon is called your avatar, and you can customize yours by clicking the "Change picture" button on your My Stuff page, then uploading the image you want from your computer.
For the extra text or images under your forum posts, those are called signatures, and you need to be a Scratcher to have one. This topic can help you learn how to become one.
