Why are we jumping from Scratch 1.4 to 2.0?

It's because everything is being completely revamped. It's completely different than 1.4.

The number change depends on how different it will be from the current version. It's being completely rewritten in Flash and will be online, therefore it goes to the next whole number which is 2.0.

We're currently at 1.4, by the way, not 1.6.
