No offense, but it sorta sucks. 
You didn't program in Side-to-Side collision, or Top-Collision and the gravity is REALLY LOW (Jump and it takes like 2 seconds to touch the ground) . 
Not only that, but it has that DREADFUL bounciness glitch (Even though your not doing anything your character looks like its "bouncing" AKA going up and down really fast)

Try learning from my engine, Awesome Sidescrolling Engine v0.2. It has lava(kill) trampoline(auto-jump and higher jump) and water(auto-float, press down to sink). The other features are still experimental though (Water, Trampoline).

Yeah, I just used arrow to make it and deleted all of the other sprites.
