Nobody's getting past the password, but there are a few interesting details one can see without having the password.

How can one see these details?

javascript:document.body.childNodes[0].ASsetEditMode(true);

Where do you put the script?

I should really learn javascript

if you're using firefox, use the web console and enter it. this may take some time to find. it's in tools (if you can't see the tools tab, hit alt) under web developer.

we're not
guess what though: people tend to do things more when they're not allowed

coinman wrote:

you can't, as far as i know, unless you decompile it and run it in an actionscript editor
you'd need to run it on a local server using xampp or something similar.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu/accounts/login/ When I tried logging in, I got an error page. In it, it talks about several passwords all starred out but all the same length. Perhaps it is also the same as the access code? Anyone got any ideas?

Then blocks colors are all messed up...
There is are [show/hide monitor [ v]] blocks that can show and hide both variable and list watchers.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

the show monitor blocks have been there for a while (relatively)

new things i noticed are the changed block colours, removal of "all at once", the stage motion blocks, and the wedo/scratch board blocks

You obviously haven't been on this thread in a while, if you're being serious.

And did anyone else notice the Variables are green now?

I kinda like it, but still miss my old orange Variables.

Now there's a lack of blocks on the red side of the spectrum  sad

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

The new Events color is still ugly, but slightly less ugly.

The new pen color is very good.

I like the new variables, but refer to my above post on more detail about them.

And they could have chosen a much better color for lists, although I am fine with it now.

Actually they used the old orange in the events category.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

i really like the new data colour
i find that the events and pen colours look kind of too harsh
and the operators one is kinda bright

Really? To me it doesn't look like that...

[EDIT]: Oops, looks like all the colors on my computer were slightly distorted. The contrast bar was barely raised, but it made the color change. It looks a lot less ugly, now.

But it still doesn't look like the old orange to me.  tongue
