3. Open the first bookmark, wait until it loads, and then open the second bookmark.
Tested in Google Chrome 19.0.1084.56 on Mac OS X 10.7.4.

How do you log in?

Use JavaScript to set it.

Code:

document.getElementById('fa').ASsetLoginUser('username','password');

Is the scratch team ok with this?

any response yet paddle?

We talked it over and decided that we do want to keep the alpha editor / website private. So please don't use it or share it with others, or try to find ways to access it in the future.

However, we are planning on doing another limited release during which we'll open it up to the whole community this coming August. When we reach beta, we may even keep it open for some time so we can get help finding and documenting bugs from members of AT and other communities on Scratch.

I can tell you now they'll say no.  tongue  They took it off for a reason, they released it for 3 days only because they wanted ppl to see how it was going.

Lol. I know.  tongue

EDIT: Just curious... Did anyone else download the Scratch_new.swf?  tongue

Is that scratch2.0? It was asking me for a username and pass and I used my scratch login but it didn't work.

I have it but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to set it up.

You have to embed it into some webpage

This probably wont work

Make a weebly site and use the .swf thing to embed the alpha into your site, publish it, and let me know if it worked

I already know how to do it. That's quite old. However, we're not allowed to.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

Loving the really new blocks! I tried "warp speed" with this script
http://i50.tinypic.com/1eqf82.jpg
and I get differences like 3.7 - 0.772. :0

Haven't had a chance to try out "user id" yet.

edit: paint editor lol  tongue  I found a text bug: make text, multi-select it with something else, rotate.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

You used to be able to go to http://alpha.scratch.mit.edu:8080/, but that is a tomcat test page. However, I have a local copy of the site which I captured during the Scratch Day celebration.

No, but there's the possibility of us having to wait even longer for it if we don't abide by their rules.

|_ I made a userscript that adds the option to go to the 2.0 editor. It is the fastest yet and updates automatically as it is linking to the official one. It works. I will soon be adding a viewer option. Should i share it?

Re: Scratch 2.0 Alpha

It turns out that the website on port 8080 really is a tomcat test page, and on port 80 the site is empty. It has been taken down.

It's actually the alpha, not prealpha.

Not true, it's just password protected.

Yes. I need this to survive, and my survival is vital to this timeline, so it is imperative that you share it.
