I myself are not fond of Tobuscus, I prefer people who are strait to the point and serious, and not make constant jokes all the time.

A popular TV channel pays much more then a partnership which is like less then a penny (cent or whatever your smallest coin is) per few views which don't have AdBlock enabled. He's been running stand up alongside his YouTube, and unless you're super popular and are on TV at least once a month that hardly pays
cause a bird and a fish could fall in love/but where would they live?
