Re: My "Welcome To Scratch" video

Cons:

-music could be/or is repeated and annoying.
-you don't show anything what buttons do and stuff
-you showed each page like only 2 or more each minute.
-i think it should be in the new scratch member section.
-look like it was rushed.
-they not even a little text to tell you what page section it is. after every 2 or mroe minutes.

Pros:

+the only thing that gets me most is that you showed a link to scratch and you said sgin up now!. and you also did a cool text thing in the first 10 mins.

Yeah it was rushed. The music isn't repeated though.....
There is text saying what each page is about, look on the bottom.

I think it's really neat!  Very nice fades and wipes between shots; good music too.  One problem I experienced is that the video player that I was running it in obscured the text descriptions you had at the bottom of the screen.  I don't know if this is a browser-specific problem or what (I'm using IE7).  But if you could fix that (move the text to center screen?, use a different video player?) it would be very helpful.

This makes a great "teaser" add, to get people interested enough to visit the site.

I noticed that too. Just move the mouse pointer out of the window and the controls will disappear. I'm using Safari on an iMac though.

Never thought of that...it works great!  Thanks for the tip.
