Sprite Transparency

My Dad, GTPower is making a project which requires a sprite to be slightly transparent but we do not know how to do it. Do you know how to make sprites transparent?

use the

change [ghost v] effect by (1)
or the
set [ghost v] effect to (1)

Thnx, we have discovered that the number (1) is the percentage it changes by
