How do you make your own fourms? A scratcher made a fourm called the TBG fourms.
Someone suggested that I do that if I want a fourm. How do you do that?

Yup, except, I actually hosted it on a separate general hosting server, rather than a restricted Punbb hosting specialized site.
They both have their ups and downs, but Punbb Hosting is the fastest.

not to mention easiest, and glitchy-est. I don't recommend it if you are using linux, or one of it's distros. You won't be able to login, or register for that matter. If you want better quality, use forumotion, or a free web hoster such as 000webhost.com and install it with the fantastico installer (whenever renovation on that thing gets done)

If you're just started out, I'd recommend PunBB-Hosting. However, that limits the amount of features you can have -- it's better to make an account on a free web hosting service, download the files for a forum software (I use FluxBB), upload them via FTP, and you're pretty much done. It's easier than it sounds. You need to create a database too, before you install FluxBB. It's extremely simple though, just click one button. Then just follow the instructions.
I'd be willing to help out if you want.

Best way to do it really is code it yourself, since you can do everything your own way
That'd take ages.

Ask RedRocker227. He has one.

EDIT; You'll need a domain too (don't use a subdomain, they suck). Get a .tk one -- they're free.

The most professional way of doing it is installing FluxBB or PunBB yourself on a free web server provided by services like 000webhosting, 1freehosting and Free Hosting Cloud.
This way, you have the most control over your forum, and you can get a nice domain name from co.cc or dot.tk.

I don't trust those free hosts; where are they getting their income if not from ads. People don't just offer a free host.

Well, they just hope some people will upgrade to their premium service

Coding your own gives you much more flexibility and control over it, though.
It's easier to mod an existing one, if you have knowledge of PHP

Yeah, that's what i did on Coders' Shed. It's mostly FluxBB, with a few mods installed, and some personal modifications also.
Same with the Scratch Forums, actually. The ST modded it a lot. Especially communicating with ScratchR.

So I think we're getting an answer something along the lines of this:
Use a free (or paid, if you have a gazillion dollars) hosting service.
Use that to install a forum software such as punbb, fluxbb, mybb and many others(bb ).
Then create your forum!
Any objections?

1. Wait, WEEBLY?! Get 1freehosting, google it. Then install PunBB. It's basically the same.
2. Add the files into the database.

But you can install all the styles, modifications, and other customization things you want when you use 1FreeHosting.

Um, guys. This isn't a Forum Official Topic. He's asking how to make one. Not to show him yours.

Nooooooooooo!
*slaps hand as (s)he is about so reach for punbb-hosting*
Here's how you do it:
Go to 1FreeHosting.com and sign up
Go to http://cpanel.1freehosting.com/switcher/create
Set hosting plan to 1FreeHosting
Set the subdomain to your forum name without spaces.
Select a domain from the right. I would recommend allalla.com
Enter a password. Any password. This will become your server password.
Enter words from picture.
Click create.
Find "Auto-Installer" on the page you are redirected to and click it.
Select PunBB.
There you go! Just wait for it to finish and go to your new forums. Login and manage.
