Banjo- kazooie topic

Discuss the awesome that is the banjo series.
YES, N&B was good. Sure, not a banjo game, but still good. The creativity is endless. They shoulda put different/original characters besides banjo and kazooie in my opinion. The game itself was good. The choice of characters was less than stellar.
Oh, and no offense, but banjo-tooie is MUCH better than Banjo and kazooie, but that was a great game as well.
ANd people....
the stop and swap in microsoft on the xbox live store is something they just thought up. The REAL stop and swap is still out there.
My theory is the hot swapping plus banjo-tooie and kazooie would lead to some super-awesome moves. Or an extended storyline.
Yes, the ones in banjo-tooie were decoys. You CAN find stop n' swap eggs in banjo kazooie. Look up "Banjo kazooie stop n swap egg codes." You'll know you got it right when you hear a moo sound. Input the codes in treasure trove cove's sandcastle.
WARNING: The codes are very long and the letters don't light up as you pound them.
The eggs do nothing, but it's nice to brag to your friends. They get their own little section, next to click clock wood's statistics screen.
Oh, and also, I was born in...not sure if i'm allowed to reveal that. But, I was born in the late N64 era, and I loved this game because I was attracted to retro games.
But enough about that. Discuss!

The B&K series was awesome! It is one of few games I played through twice!

Why are the secret organizations getting all the attention?  mad

I can't think of any game wise that compare to banjo-tooie.
Shrek 2 was pretty good, and better than the 1st, in my opinion.

Re: Banjo- kazooie topic

I wasn't a big fan of Nuts and Bolts. I like kicking Gruntilda's butt, not building cars. Most of Rare's Microsoft games aren't very good either. Perfect Dark Zero was a dissapointment, and why is Conker's Bad Fur Day more censored on a Microsoft system than a Nintendo one?

Anyway, Kazzoie and Tooie are both awesome. Especially Tooie.

Re: Banjo- kazooie topic

The XBLA version of Banjo-Tooie has Stop-n-Swop II. This pretty much solidifies a sequel.

Re: Banjo- kazooie topic

N&B was good, but it would have been SO much better if they had some levels where you could roam around and use Banjo's and Kazooie's old moves. :C

IKR? It's only, like, 20% platforming.
Tooie is the best. Which is your favorite?

Conker's bad four day was GREAT. Just hated the linearity.
And I agree, N&B was the worst.
I prefer Tooie.

Hmmmm . . . tough one. . . hm. Well, while tooie I believe is overall in quality the best game in the series, (2 player gopher devil? Totally BAWSH) the original B&K is one of the first games I ever played. Nothing can pass it in my eyes. oUo

I prefer it when I can do it in almost any order (With the exception of the final area, that MUST always be last)
Plus, there were barely any secrets.

Super mario bros was a very early game. And there WERE secrets. Warp pipes, secret beanstalks.
Conker's bad fur day...well, its large overworld provided a chance for plenty of secrets.
Since there were no secrets, there's no reason to play it over again.
And I don't play games over again.
UNLESS it's paper mario 2.

I meant the series in general.

And there IS a reason to play Conker again: multiplayer.

IMO, CBFD is Rare's ultimate achievement. Yeah, Perfect Dark, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, Goldeneye 007, and Banjo-Kazzoie/Tooie are all great, but you can't pee on clubgoers in any of those games.
