I am building a nascar game, and it is going very good. it is too easy because you are ably to go through the other cars, how do i stop this? i have tried last safe x & y position, but because they are moving objects, it stops you cold as they run over you, putting you in last. i need a code that will have the cars bump off each other but while still moving strait or turning, but if i stop in front of them or rear end them, it all has to be different like move forward, or slow down your and their car due to bump. i can handle putting it in the other cars, i am pretty good at scratch. please help! moving bump code!

Is it a side scroller, or is the view behind or inside the car, or is it overhead view?

This is the script I use to make solid walls:

when [right arrow v] key pressed
change x by (2)
if <touching color [#3C1BE0]?>
change x by (-2)
