Sprites slow down when they meet?

Hey guys,

So I've pretty much fixed and figured out every bug in my program at this point (that I can find) except for one, which really has me stumped. When the two sprites touch, they just slow down. They're not supposed too (I dont believe I put anything in there for them slowing down..), yet they are. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the download link for my game if you have time to test it out and see if you can figure out what's wrong: http://www.mediafire.com/?g7am7gs305rgzno

Any feedback is greatly appreciated  smile  And if there's any other bugs that you find that I may have missed, feel free to inform me of that as well. Thanks for your help guys!

Re: Sprites slow down when they meet?

In my Mario game, when Mario is touching the flagpole, his movements seem to be laggy but in the Flash Player, it's smooth. I'm not sure if that's your bug. If it is, everything will be fine on the Flash Player.
