I like the program overhaul, but I want the forums to stay similar to the way they are now

Well, now that I think about it, it's more like twitter. (But I don't like that, either.)
I like Twitter.
oh wait, WHERES THE FORUMS? D:>
they're making it with djangoBB, so no need to develop it long before it's finished. they'll probably make it like one week before the release or something to save disk space

They're customizing it. Majorly, i bet. They're just basing it off of DjangoBB. They'll probably get to it in a few months.

It's okay you'll get used to it.
Honestly, one of the things I'm most exited about is the new website layout

I'm going to keep using scratch 1.4. If I download a project made in 1.4, will it not work without 2.0?
Another thing- the vector art design thing. I like it, but it'll make it difficult to draw intentionally pixely things without using an outside program.

Projects made in 1.4 (and earlier) should still work in Scratch 2.0. One thing you can opt for is to create the project in 1.4 first, upload it to the site, and then edit further in Scratch 2.0 editor online.

It'd be cool if they kept this site (read-only mode) on another domain (like oldscratch.mit.edu) just for fun, but it'd probably be too much of a hassle for the little good it would do.
Eh, well, just a thought.

I think you may have misunderstood. I meant, will projects mades in 1.4 still work in 1.4 when i dowbnload them after the site is updated?

1.4 won't be destroyed. If you have 1.4 downloaded on your computer you can use it if you'd like to.

There's always the Wayback Machine.

You know what. I'm going to quit scratch probably. This site means EVERYTHING to me, and to lose it- that's just terrible. Lets just wait for the heartless mods to tear a hole straight through my heart and ruin my life. ;_;

Unless you're joking about it ruining your life then that's kind of overreacting.
