I have one thing to say about EA/Entertainment Arts:
You have NO creativity. Madden games are the exact SAME every time. At least Mario has all new levels and some sort of innovation, new powerup, or AT LEAST a gimmick! Zelda, Professor Layton, Pokemon, Halo, Metroid, Sonic, even the abomination of Little Big Planet...
Every gaming company can come up with something new EXCEPT EA. I'm starting to think that they just recycle a pre-made program and just add a few players and voila! A waste of $50! (Unless, of course, you buying your first Madden game ever).
So, in a nutshell, EA is uncreative, Madden never changes, and if you buy Madden 13 after buying Madden 12 you are WASTING MONEY.

EA makes NFS and they're pretty good.

I agree with you on the Madden part with the no changes. You want to know something? To them, it's not about the need for change, it's the need for the feel of having something new. They leech off of that. Other games, like NFS, they need something new everytime. Also, with Madden, how are you going to make something new? Have them play in space? I only have one Madden game and that's for the iPod. It's pretty good, I suppose.

EA sells you a game in 1000 different parts all costing £40.

Hey, they made FIFA. D:
To be honest that sucks though. It's alright until you play online - the servers are dreadful.

Lol @ you still calling them Entertainment Arts.
I respect EA. As Harakou said, they are a publisher/distributor. So its not in their business to be creative. You are just raging because you are unhappy with the Madden Series, so I guess I shouldn't take anything you said seriously. I don't see how you can base your view of a publisher on just one of their games. Take a look at this, then tell me how they can't think of anything new.

Buying the newest Madden games as they come out is not smart, but NFS is normally really good.

Not that I don't hate EA with a burning, fiery passion.

Meant to put a period there.

no i'm saying that after harakou said they weren't a developer she realized it was a mistake, so when you said "its not in their business to be creative" it actually is.

Ah, now I feel really stupid, lol. I knew they use to develop games years ago, I didn't realize they still did. I looked it up and they seem only develop sports games now, which I don't like/play.

The two things that are the worst about EA:
1. Awful servers
2. Terrible customer service
You don't know how much I wish another company made FIFA, because I love it so much but I don't want to support EA...

They also corrupt every company they absorb. (I'm looking at you, Maxis and Bioware)
And no, Activision, this doesn't mean I'm siding with you.

just so you know, EA leech on other companies. In the late 90s, they took over Westwood (and got Command & Conquer) Maxis (and got Simcity, The Sims and other franchises) Bullfrog (and got the "theme" series). I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of EA games were not originally created by EA.
