Scratch Forums Collab
For those who haven't noticed, I am planning on making a project that is essentially a complete forum with different categories and such. I am planning for it to be one of the first major projects after 2.0 comes out, so I want to start now.
Since 2.0 isn't out, the work on this until 2.0 will be all visual's and such. Like how to display the text, how to have everything arranged, basically the scratch 1.4 version would be forums that only the person playing it can alter and a different one every time. That way, when 2.0 comes out, we will have a smaller amount of work to do.
Categories
Visuals:
The people who will be making it look nice.
Texties:
The people who will be programming the posts, making it ask a question where you would type your post and then they will be making it into text. They will also be making the scrollbars and making the editing/reporting function. This is one of the major jobs
Organizers:
The people who will be programming all the forum categories and threads and be making the creation of threads
Ideaists: 2 (excluding me)
They will be coming up with all the different categories
MODERATORS:
What's a forum without moderators? They will be, if needed, programming the moderator forums. And of course they will be moderating the forums. As of this moment I am only accepting 3 (excluding myself).

So once we get a head textie (or an assistant textie wanting to move up) and a Visual assistant we'll get started. We'll do a basic thread first until we get some Organizers.

I'm assuming thi will use the mesh, with variables for the posts that can change or be added?

No, not mesh. 2.0 Cloud Variables.

You should also add permissions to forums, so only certain users can view/post.
That's how the mod forums are, that only mods can view and post.

But that's not how the forums that I'm typing in right now work. I'll see if I can make more threads if the member is a committed member of the forums.

I would like to be a moderator!
I want to be a moderator because I have lots (3 hours min) of free time (Note: This free time excludes the time that I use for collabs). I usually spend this time going around the forums, checking out all the topics.
