So, I've watched the new video about Scratch(like most of you have), and I'm most intrigued by the idea of cloud storage variables. Since the video didn't really explain the variables that well, here's a couple questions onto how they work.
1. a. Are cloud storage variables shared in a project's remixes?
b. Can cloud storage variables be accessed by 'looking inside' a project?
2. Can cloud storage variables be accessed by a project outside a certain project?
Based on how these questions are answered, I have a couple suggestions on interactions between projects, concerning cloud variables. If they do get implemented, the possibilities are very exciting.

1. a. I don't think so, because it would just be too complicated for a project AND its remixes to always have the same setting on cloud variables (Unless it is intentionently set that way)
b. I'd think so, because when you're "looking inside" a project you're actually still online.
2. Hmm. Unless they maybe both have cloud variables, I'm not sure.

It would be cool if it were possible to share variables between projects. But both examples they gave (a poll and high scores) require a certain amount of "security". So I think the obvious setup would be to make them unique to a each project. Remixes might start with a copy.
I too am very curious about exactly how it will work though.

1A) Remixes probably inherit the values, the same as they inherit everything else.
1B) Why not? It's still running the same project.
2) I doubt it.
