How do you embed an image in your signature?

i don't really understand the way they told me to do it, an the X symbol keeps popping up.

This^ and if you want the image to link to perhaps a project when clicked, do this:

Code:

[url=(put URL here)][image]put image URL here[/image][/url]

Where it says [image] and [/image] it should be changed to img to make it work. "image" doesn't work.
