I haven't played Super Mario Galaxy, Banjo-Tooie or Ocarina of Time so I can't really make that comparison

You're right, old doesn't mean better. What these are are the classics. You can't beat the classics. There were plenty of shows before the 90's. Those shows are old so why don't people like those? Because those aren't classics. I'm pretty sure that's why people enjoy the 90's so much, as do I
