Nintendo WiiU Should i buy it?

So, you should know that the nintendo WiiU is coming out soon... should i buy it? Right now i have three nintendo consoles: The 3ds, the Dsi and the Wii. Should i sell my Dsi and my Wii to be able to buy the wiiU? Please help, i don't want to make the wrong decision! I also wanted to ask if i would be able to play the wii games i have now on the WiiU? Do any of you guys know? Or should i wait untill a couple of months after the WiiU is released, so i get a cheaper price?

hm

"should you sell your possessions for the next cool thing, which you'll end up selling as well later when the next cool thing comes out?" is what you're asking here pretty much

You have a good point, a bit like when the 3ds came out. I will definitely consider your opinion. Thanks for helping  smile

Re: Nintendo WiiU Should i buy it?

The Wii U will be backwards compatible with all Wii games and peripherals.

So selling the Wii for the Wii U doesn't seem like that bad of a decision, unless you are heavily invested in the Wii's GameCube backwards compatibility (GameCube games and peripherals will not work on the Wii U). But even then the Wii U will have some of the GameCube games as downloadable Virtual Console games (although that could be a problem, considering that GameCube games can be up to 1.4 GB and it's rumored that the Wii U hard drive will be 8GB; hopefully we'll hear more this supposed feature at E3, but I think there could be a way to work it all out).

And yes, I would recommend selling your DSi, since you already have the 3DS, which works with all DS games, and (although I might be wrong) has the majority of the DSiWare.

The Wii U is going to be awesome. Nintendo's going to get better 3rd party support, as well as add more games that will appeal to a hardcore audience. In fact, Assassin's Creed III is planning to be released on the Wii U as well as 360/PS3, and a port of Batman: Arkham City will also be released. Heck, they could release some other titles that were on other consoles/PC. I wonder how Bioshock, Skyrim, and Half-Life 2 would be on the Wii U!

Plus, there will be all the Nintendo series'; Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Pokemon, Starfox, and the characters in those series coming together to beat each other up in Super Smash Bros (there has been a confirmed SSB game for the Wii U, and it will also be released on the 3DS).

So I hope my information is helpful. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them. Thanks for reading and happy gaming!

Re: Nintendo WiiU Should i buy it?

Just buy a gaming computer or upgrade your current one.

Or wait for the PS4.
