Don't spam just to get your levels up, it doesn't really make that much of a difference, it's just for nothing

And for the pictures, imagine you turn into some kind of creature that reflects on your personality, or maybe just your username. You can also have more than one card if you want (though it can't just be the same thing).

I'd be level 5 if I round my posts.
I've been fiddling recently with the idea of a Scratch TCG... I have no ideas though.

I meant like, I realized I hadn't been posting upon checking my "level"
I wasn't posting just to get a higher level

I didn't spam. Just did my best to find as many things to help out on as possible.

Then a silhouette of a person made of green 0s and 1s, unless you've got a better idea?

Here's the rules that I got sent:
We'll have all of these types and the cards will be light brown for normals:
Plant/Insect
Robotic
Warrior
Animal
Holy
Creep/Dark
Aquatic
Rare cards will have a silver trimming instead of bronze, rarer will have gold, rarest will have a dark blue-ish for platinum. There will also be level ratings on the cards for power levels, and the stars will be the same color as the border of the card.
Every card will have an attack and defense if it's a character card. I want the range to be from 500-5000 in terms of 5000 being the absolutely strongest a monster can be, in any case 500 being a throwaway card, and 2500-4000 being the normal. If it's too complicated, maybe split all of those values in half.
Fusion cards: Since we're probably not going to have a lot of cards because of lack of ideas, combinations of cards will be available. In the game, you will unlock the fusion card if you manage to make it. We will release a few rare DNA Merging Station cards which creates the new card. Yes this is a ripoff of Yugioh, let's hope they don't notice. I'm not sure how we'll do this, but I guess we'll just have a fusion gallery which records all pre-existing monster fusions that've been made.
Elements - Should we have elements? Maybe, we'll have to see.
Card colors - I already explained some above but what happens if there's more than one type? Here's the answer:
Card types that can't both be on the same card (some exceptions, we'll use common sense to decide the dominant color then):
Secondary Types whose colors don't show up to the above
Types (listed at the top of document), Giant, etc.
Fusion > Giants > Special Effect > Normal
Magic Cards/ Event Cards - Deep Red color, not too bright though
Field Cards ripoff name I can't think - Maybe a variant of red?
Each pack gives you 5 cards, you can use 14 total in your deck. We'll have special orange Promo Cards available for people signing up. It'll probably be a scratch cat rip off but not relatable to scratch just that it's orange, for signing up. It'll have decent stats I guess. We can also release special holiday cards like a living pumpkin, or maybe a robot Santa? They'll be a special [Promo] type and nothing else.
The battles are automatic because the cards react by themselves. There's no
choosing to attack what, it attacks what's infront of it. There'll be attack delays where a card has to wait this many turns before it becomes usable.
I hope that explains it, I pretty much understand what I have to. I copied this out of a text file in a dropbox and I didn't really read over it a second time so.. whatever. Also it turns out it might be a flash game.

I'm level 8.
And I could have the skills uh "Spill: Weaken X card's damage by Y amount" and "Splash: Deal X damage to a chosen card"
Idk, change it if needed for it to fit the rules just ideas.

X and Y are my favourite amounts/people.

I was told it's a mix between Warmetal: Tyrant, the card flash game and Yugioh, without all of the complicated card effects, but simple processes that can fake being a bunch of different effects although they're basically the same thing.

Oh... Turns out I'm actually level nine, not ten. I misread it. :x

I like this Idea, but maybe instead of forum posts, It should be number of scratch projects because scratch is all about the projects and the community. or maybe Forum posts would be like how much hit points or ability points, and the projects would determine the character's appeance and/or abilities.

But people could get a ton of levels easily.

Then the rubbish Scratchers would be better since they generally have more projects.
...That came out wrong. See this post.

That's a mean thing to say..
And I was thinking of having the levels be (posts+comments)/2000

Okay, that sort of came out wrong. I meant Scratchers who spend less time on perfecting their projects generally have more projects, but obviously since not as much effort went into them they won't be as high in quality.

Yes, all those announcement-and-coloring-contest-posting-furries would be level 9001 if we judged only the amount of Scratch projects uploaded.
@Andres-Vander: If you want to base levels solely in concrete numbers (some members are highly appreciated in the community, while not having many posts, etc.), I'd say you could also consider the years of experience and pages of projects.
Something like: ([posts+comments]/2000)+(pages of projects/10)+years in Scratch. Dunno if that's balanced, just throwing an idea there.
14 cards in your deck sounds like way too little to me, I'd boost that to at least 30 (and even that is very little when it comes to TCGs), especially if you plan on having lots of combos and non-player effects, in the form of Event/Magic cards.
I'm willing to playtest this when/if you need to. You guys could try creating a LackeyCCG plugin for (relatively) easy online play.
