Rayman clone en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rayman_(video_game)
Suggestions for your upcoming games: darken or grey backgrounds
to improve 3D depth perception. Dont use game scripts to darken.
Invent your own characters like user Jonzo probably does.
Add voice acting. Ask in the forums for if you dont want to use your voice.
Cite your sources!
GAMEPLAY: 5 - Fun to watch, fun to play.
UI: 5 - Flawless
UX: 5 - Great ingame tutorial
Glitches: 5 - I played three levels with Flashplayer, no glitch found.
GRAPHICS: (4) - Perfect, but probably ripped. Backgrounds too bright.
AUDIO: (3) - Nice, probably ripped, no audio source quoted
LONGEVITY: 4 - I played three levels
INNOVATION: 3
Scratch game technical innovation: 5 - unseen character animation.
Game innovation: 0 - seems to be a clone of a commercial game
Verdict: AWESOME , but a clone of a commercial game.
Probably ripped sprites and sounds instead of creating your own ones.
MY OVERALL SCORE: 4 ( five minus one for cloning )

I refuse to review as you did not integrate
my suggestions from the comments two weeks ago.

A copy of the project comments two weeks ago:
eventexception: cant win
calebxy: Lol, I can. Anyway, what do you think of the game?
eventexception: As i cant win, its annoying Would be nice first wave with only ONE enemy, second wave two... fourth wave speed up enemies...
calebxy: Ah yes, that's a good idea!

Only trademarked characters are ripped, anything like backgrounds and most items are hand-drawn by me.
And the many music pieces and sound effects are ripped, but programming them to be in sync and not glitch is where the effort was put in to make them work, as there are tonnes of sound effects either from Rayman files or searched on google. Better than a music loop and a CLICK.

Did you design the levels? Items and obstacle locations?
How about describing your work efforts into the project notes
or into an in game about screen?
I had to guess...
Btw. how many levels implemented?

Right:
+i started a blank project, no remix
+there are 4 levels: Calmdale Forest, The Cloud Sanctuary, The Squishy Swamps, and The Temple Blaze.
+The levels were designed by me. This is not a remake of any Rayman game
+Rayman takes 6 separate sprites to make him move, a unique character controlling method to make him very responsive. Sadly, so responsive he does 2 actions at once, so you may see double-vision.
+I designed most of the objects, such as bouncing mushrooms, the terrain, the elevators, keys, locks, switches, timers, magic stones ect.
Full list of third party things:
+Enemy from rayman 1
+Rayman sprites
+Murfy Sprites
+Music
+Sound Effects
+Missile
+Volcano Background for Menu (Literally just the background)
+The special font
+A flower in level 1
+Arrow "Fleche"
+Fire
+Spikes
+Swamp background
+Temple background
If there is anything you don't think was done by me that was not mentioned please inquire.

GAMEPLAY: 3 - Nice setting, nice beginning, frustrating due to glitches.
UI: 4 - all in game, sometimes inconsistent, help screens disappear to fast
UX: 2 - Nice game, questionable physics (check user erkstock´s engines)
Glitches mess UX: holding left arrow messes things up (post this in help with scripts?)
got stuck in maze of doors :-/
GRAPHICS: 3 - average for Scratch. Animate your main character a bit.
AUDIO: (3) - repetitive, no audio source quoted - the good: volume button
LONGEVITY: 2 - I played three short easy levels
INNOVATION: 3
the good: mix of jump and run, fight and puzzle
the bad: gitches frustrated my UX (User experience)
MY OVERALL SCORE: 2.9
Verdict: good if you are a beginner, or very good if you never programmed before
below average if you are an experienced Scratcher.
Keep on scratching and ask friended users for help or in help with scripts
Unglitch this game!

Thanks, this is still a beta and there isn't anything farther then the maze of doors (also I only spent about 5 hours max on it, i thought you meant how many hours of scratching in general)

I played only 0 - 20 hours scratch projects, because I use other frameworks/engines (Stencyl, Platinum Arts Sandbox), too.
As you use other frameworks i think you are very experienced
GAMEPLAY: 4 - amazing, but i dont get the game goal. All enemies managed, weird scoring formula does not reflect this.
UI / UX: 5 - flawless, ingame help
GRAPHICS: 3 - background could be better, an image for example. Import counters and progress bars from other Scratch projects? Add effects if enemies hide or attack?
I assume you did the graphics or used an open source.
AUDIO: 4 - nice! Sources?
GLITCHES: 4 - enemy counter goes negative
LONGEVITY: 3 - played it three times, gets repetitive. Add acceleration after achievements?
INNOVATION: 5 - innovative setting, farm up your tools, enemies with AI and non violent.
MY OVERALL SCORE: 4 (for innovation)
Verdict: Innovative, no ´borrowing´ of characters and trademarks from other games!
Needs some polishing to make it awesome!

It hasn't a real goal, it's more sort of a sandbox game.

LOL, it has a image as background
I may add a kill counter.
I did everything of this game in less then 48 hours.

The game is released as CC0/Public Domain, so simply download it. They are created using the tool as3sfxr.

The code for the AI is pretty simple, but it works very well.

I was thinking about a desert photo as background, for example.
Link to your other game projects?
Thanks for your useful sound tool hint: as3sfxr

This is my latest game. please rate it more than 100 hours. I had another account.
Your title: Warriors of the Desert: CactusClan vs DustClan
Gameplay: 2 - boring and repetitive - Sorry if this sounds harsh, only my opinion.
Why three game modes if every game mode looks similar?
Just analyze Scratch games you love to replay and copy or modify these concepts for your upcoming games.
I have seen similar fighting games on Scratch i liked to replay. Cant remember the titles.
UI/UX/Glitches: 5 - very good
Graphics: 4 - (only if you draw this)
Animals lack animation. At least rotate 30 deg while attacking?
Sound: 0 - no sound. Check the Scratch wiki for resources.
Innovation, longevity: ???
Overall Score: 2.2 If you are quite young maybe score 3, but DO NOT post your age.
Keep on Scratching, so you will improve your upcoming projects!
