I want to know because I have so many ideas in my head.

Ok - Maybe I could help you, what do you have in mind? That way I can help. This may need to go to Help With Scripts too, you can check out my Help With Scripts Guide too, and you can make a request of what you are unsure of.

Oh hi! I have a project, called 'Running Example (for New Scratchers)' and while that may not help you make a game, it'll certainly help with platformers! wink

I suggest trying a simple idea of your own first - pick up a few basic scripts (also, look at sprites such as the gravity marble) and try to start a game you think you can manage to make.

here are three games that I made that might help you (you can download it to see the scripts)

A side scrolling RPG
Another Side scrolling RPG
A Game like super smash bros. Brawl

Hi!

Take a look at the many projects around Scratch for inspiration.
When you have found one you like, download it to see how it was created.
Try putting together some of the scripts yourself.

Or, take a look at the wiki for scripting tutorials.

You should see the scripts in the sample games that come with Scratch. It will give you some ideas of what functions you can create.
