I gave pretty much all the details out earlier.  I don't know what's wrong.  I forwarded port 25565 to my static internal ip and followed every single step you posted exactly.  I can connect via localhost and my internal ip, but my external ip and the no-ip url do not work.  The only possible thing I could think of is that I use openDNS.  But that's not on the server computer, just my laptop.  That shouldn't be a problem, should it?

I have no idea how to do this, but maybe you could try using hamachi
