Deleting Posts

When you delete one of your posts, does that subtract one from your post count? Suppose you have 1000 posts exactly, then you want to delete your post, would the post count be 500+ or still 1000+? Thanks!

Re: Deleting Posts

Nope, the way Fluxbb/Punbb works is that deleted posts stay on your post count but the posts themselves are deleted from the server and are therefor, unreachable.

I think the idea behind it, is that you've still posted 2 times, even though one is gone, so you have 2 posts.

Re: Deleting Posts

No. There's an Admin option to synchronise post counts, but I don't think that's ever been used. And Steve, deleted posts here aren't removed the server, they're automatically moved to a secret forum especially for deleted posts, so even if they were to synchronise the posts, it wouldn't go down since they're technically still there just on a different forum.

User deleted posts are permanently gone, but mod deleted posts go to that secret forum.
