Not Supported for UBUNTU Power PC

Fairly sure this is simply an obvious dead end, however it would appear that the linux port of scratch only works on the i386 versions of UBUNTU - I have a Power PC on which I run ubuntu and the scratch linux install informed me that the architecture was wrong. of course the macintosh install does not recognize the ubuntu OS.
