The black holes will always decay almost instantly due to "Hawking radiation." Whoever told you this totally exaggerated everything. And knowing what happened in the big bang is very important to science in general!

There is NO SUCH THING as the big bang. If there was, who created the little dot that exploded, who gave it enough energy to to explode, and lots more 'who gave its'

I am going for the big bang theory. When I have time, I will tell you what go boom. Anyways, it is nearly impossible for them to create a black hole to destory earth.
1. There machine does not have enough power to create one big enough to last on its own.
2. Black holes survive in vacuums, like space. Not in the atmosphere of earth.
3. It has taken 5-10 years to come up with this machine and they have made it fail safe in everyway possible.
4. Why is this in show+tell?

Also, this research could provide and alternate fuel system: Anti-matter.

@ things were created in the big bang. If you don't believe in it, humor me. The two things that were created were matter and anitmatter. Not getting technical (I only do that when I am *****) antimatter existes rarly and is a new discovery. Lets just say this for its energy purposes. If you let it come in contact with matter it explodes. I believe one miligram could wipe out a city block. If we could obtain that kind of energy, free fual forever.

My lecture is done for now. Class dismissed.

This is a pointless conversation, it will only lead to the path of weather god is real and not and that is not a discussion that is fitted to the scratch forums, beside the big bang being true doesn't make god a falsehood.

That means reading the big-bang essays that say what the thoery is. I am sure details of what caused the eplosoin and the exact theory are plastered all over the internet. No offense though, just sayin.

Right. I saw this. First off, we will never know if the Big Bang THEORY is real unless it's tested. Now what i heard about this is it's a seventeen mile container type thing that the cells and what not will be traveling in at very fast speeds. this will create a mini big bang. Now they also mentioned it is nearly impossible to create a black hole big enough to swallow the Earth. Oh, I heard they were doing it THIS WEEKEND. Of course, when I watched it it was a month ago… (as in, they said that weekend when I saw it)
