I made a project with 1.2.1 and a lot of text used the old "ComicSans" font. But now, every time I open the project, the font changes to something which is WAY too big. So now, it looks bad because the letters are going right out of the boundaries. Even when I use the Comic Sans MS/bold font on my system, it still doesn't match the spacing of the old font. When I open the paint editor and close it the old font is there, but it changes back to the old one when I quit scratch. It would be nice if you had just kept the old fonts in with the new font selector (I can tell many people are going to miss the "emulator" font). It was probably best to just leave it with the 16 fonts in the old version.
(this is why I never delete the old version from my computer... you never know what kinds of things like this will happen where you need to use the old version. Remember that, everyone.)

Hi, hmnwilson.
Yes, I miss the old fonts, too. But those fonts could only represent Western languages such as English, Spanish, French, and German, not languages like Russian, Japanese, and Arabic.
If you don't edit the text in the costumes, your old 1.2 projects should keep on using the old fonts. But if you need to edit the text you will need to choose a new font from the menu.
Thanks for your feedback!
