It seems that they found some other air-bison.
Here's a question: How do Mako and Bolin, who are brothers, bend different elements. Wouldn't this imply that both their parents were benders (one earth and one fire) right?

yes. since the nations are now united, the people are able to freely, *ahem* reproduce with who they like....

I guess my question is, if non-benders are so "repressed" and benders are, essentially, aristocrats, why are the brothers so impoverished?

I don't think that non-benders are repressed economically, they just feel like they are treated unfairly because they can't compete in the bending sports and they can't defend themselves against bending thieves like the triple threats.

Why blame all benders for the misuse of powers from 3 people?

Isn't the triple threat a big gang of a bunch of groups of three people, though?

And there's the fact that all of the members of the city council are benders (or, at least, wear the colors of green, red, and blue).
There is also that the only police force is made entirely out of benders (I realize that non-benders would be less effective, but I'm just pointing out the inequality here; besides, chi-blockers seem more able than most benders anyway).

Was there an episode today? I missed it and can't seem to find it online.
Edit: Yesterday, I mean.
Yeah. I don't know what it was called, but I watched it. Don't want to give anything away xD Hope you find it.
On a totally different topic: no avatar state yet? Since Korra hasn't mastered the "spiritual side" of being avatar, I assume she hasn't opened her chakras (spelling?) yet, and I guess there hasn't really been an "emotion + danger" scenario (or am I forgetting something really obvious?). Be kind of weird if she went into the avatar state in a pro-bending match xD

Good point! I completely forgot about the avatar state!

I know it is but a small and inconsequential bit of the episode, but I thought the voice acting by whoever plays Tahno was amazing.

I am a huge fan of both the Last Airbender and LoK as you can tell by my username.
Discuss the Last Airbender here.

My favorite character was the cabbage guy (not my cabbages!). I'm glad they made a reference to him in LoK with cabbage corp (not my cabbage corp.!).

Lol! Yeah I remember that! I felt sorry for him because his cabbages were always knocked over. My favorite character is either Sokka or Zuko.

I find that it is better than the sequel series. The sequel needs someone like sokka because it isn't funny enough
Sokka was in episode 8 in a vision Korra had. And isn't Bolin supposed to be like Sokka?

I note that we have an earlier Airbender topic over here. Is there any reason we shouldn't merge them?
