How To Change Variable And List Colors On A MAC Computer

You'll notice when you open Scratch that the word "SCRATCH" is written in the top left corner near the top bar. Shift-click the "R" in the word and turn "fill-screen" off. Then, hold the command key and click on the variable until you see the word "Watcher" under it (the variable), then click the red button that gives you the menu. Changing the color on this will make the usually grey box with the variable name in it change. If you keep clicking, you'll see "Watcher Readout Frame" Changing the color on this will make the number part that is usually orange change color. You can also change the font and size if you click the menu when the words "Updating String" appear. Just mess around with it and make sure you save your project before you click the green flag for the first time after making the changes, or you'll lose what you did. You can do similar things with lists.

Toodles. . .
