well, money should be received like it is in C&C Generals. The method on there is semi-complex.
Basically, in all Red Alert Games you have to send out ore miners onto the battlefield to areas covered in gems and ore. However, this would be complex to make.
The one used in Generals I think is better. Instead of ore spread about all over the place, there are specific pads were tonnes of crates are. A helicopter from your team picks up a load of crates, and they are turned to credits inside your base. You can also build your own launch pads, where helicopters from off-map will randomly drop crates every 5:00 minutes to be turned to cash.

Okay, I can do that. C&C Generals is my favorite by the way, so I know what you're talking about. About the other stuff though, I've run into problems that I'm not entirely sure what happened, so I'll keep on it.

If you're having some problems, you can send me an email HEREwith the project attached, and I can see if I can fix the problem. :3

I would, but this is an odd problem. I've triple checked the scripting, and I know it's solid, and it works some of the time. But the other times, there's just random things, like the barracks being constructed before it's supposed to, or not getting built at all. I'll update it to the same link I posted earlier, so you can try it if you want. It might be my computer, there may be too many variables, I don't know.

too many variables? there are never too many variables! for constrcution scripts, and to also see scratch's hardware capability to it's maximum see my Generation:3000 project! (Not :4000)

Okay I found the problem. and it turned out it was a script error. Slight, but enough to wreck the whole thing. It's fixed now, so I'll continue.

yay!

Okay, I've been busier than I though recently, and that stalled the programming a bit, but I'm back on it now.

Alright! I'm making good progress now, I should be done with the blue list soon!

I've now finished the blue list, and uploaded it to the same place as the power scripts were originally at. It shows the power used, money, and power supplied variables in that order. I've also added the supplies and helicopters, so the computer can make money to build things. Also, if you click the supply dock, it will tell you how much money is left in it, kind of like in C&C G.

Karra? Are you still here?

very good work! shame Karra has gone missing.

Thanks! And I'm not sure what happened to her.

I've almost got number 4 on the blacklist done. The world terrain has been mostly programmed, when I upload it, we'll need to make costumes for the graphics, and trust me, that will be a lot of work. I have the buildings staying in place, and the supply dock too. the only problems on this section have been the supply helos. I haven't thought of how to do that yet. But I'm almost done with that. It only really works in performance mode, and even there it is a tad slow, probably because of how big the map is. Other than that, it's almost ready.
I have not tried anything else on the blacklist yet, number four is all.

Alright, the scrolling part and the fourth blacklist thing is done. If you don't want the map to be so huge, that's fine, I just made it really large so it wouldn't be too small. The terrain sprites will need to be done up, but I figured we'd get around to that either when we did the graphics or the campaign. Read the project notes before looking at it though.
P.S. That took a lot of duplication and editing! I'm just glad it's done!

Have you seen it yet?
