I am wondering how to get sprites. Lemme explain in more detail:
I want to get a sprite of a certain place (like a background) from Club Penguin. It is the Dance Lounge. I want to get when it is completely empty, nobody there. But I realized that I will have to be there.... so I went to this place where only one color was shaded, so I could just shade over myself in the paint editor. But first I want to know how to sort of remove the background from the website and into Scratch. So just imagine making a topic on the Scratch forums. You know how it says subject, and message, and the two boxes, and all that? I basically want to take the image of making a topic on the Scratch website, but only I want to take the image of a dance lounge from Club Penguin.

If you have a mac you can press Command, Shift, 4, and your cursor will change and you can take a screen shot of a specific area on the screen by clicking and dragging to make a box.

However, if you have a Windows computer, look for a button labeled "PrtSc" somewhere on the top-right part of your keyboard (you may have to use a key combination). If you have Windows 7 (the operating system), go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool. You can also just do a search in the Start menu for "Snipping Tool."
Hope that helps. If these instructions weren't clear enough, try searching Google for "how to take a screenshot."
