How do you chance the color and/or appearance of variable displays???

I am trying to change the variable appearances in order to match my game's theme (http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DavidCL/2446946)

Re: How do you chance the color and/or appearance of variable displays???

Before you upload, shift+click the loop in the R in the Scratch logo and select "turn fill screen off". Then alt-click the variable watcher until it says "WatcherReadoutFrame" below it. Click "change color..." and select a color, then click the little x in the corner. You can change the colour of the text too by clicking it until it says "UpdatingString".
Make sure you change it just before you upload otherwise it will appear normal.
