PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

NOTE: Even if you have seen this topic before, please reread it, as i have changed many things.

PROJECT FIX LOVE-ITS
No, this is not a scratch project. PLEASE read below.

I'm always bothered by the fact of how many people misuse love its. Maybe this page can get recognized, and it'll help stop misuse of loveits.

Don't make love a currency.

HOW TO HELP

To help spread the word:

Paste this code into your signature:

Code:

[url=http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=94121][img]http://i1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee477/schnrfl/flv.png[/img][/url]

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

I don't see a problem with giving love-its in return for something. Obviously it's wrong if you're bribing people with them or something, but if someone makes a signature for you, for example, it's about the only thing you can give them.

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

Yeah, what Red Rocker said. Even if you succeed, how do you know whether or not the person actually likes a project or just giving a love it?

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

I won't support, because I agree with RedRocker. It's not misusing. You can't stop it without taking love-its away.

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

I don't think this is actually a suggestion, so much as an idea, or protest. The only thing you are suggesting is to spread the word.  hmm

S/he's suggesting banning the use of using love-its as currency.

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

ROSMan I am happy to see someone active in their belief! However, I notice you are suggesting that love-its are "misused". I am seeing the points of those who reply here in opposition and they seem credible to me. The idea of giving a love-it in return for a favor is wrong is what way? Could you elaborate more on how love-its are used as a "currency" Perhaps then you might gain my support, especially if you can convince me that PFL is well thought out and love-its are indeed abused  smile

Re: PFL: Project 'Fix Loveits'

I support this, because someone might be "sucking in views" by getting "too many loveits".
