I think Paddle2See mentioned on another similar topic that it's nice to have fun with April Fool's jokes, but that jokes that disrupt normal activity can get annoying and even cross the line of spam or offensiveness.

That's why I don't really support ideas like spamming the front page 
Yet I fancy the idea of the signature, maybe change it to one of the mod's sig!

When you click on something that's not a link, there would be some javascript magic to make it fall off the page. It would come back after 5 seconds, so you could still read it.
