Ever.
I always make my decision based on my experiences with that person (How they've behaved, do they seem like mod material, etc.)
I don't need to know all the stuff in the speech because I already know it.
Hence I am wondering what's the point of making a speech.
For other people.

Probably from another forum; there's no size BBCode here.

So, Scimonster first, Lucario second? Good choice.

I did Luc first, Sci second. Although I think they'd both be good moderators, Lucario621 was my first choice.

I think Lucario would be a good mod, but I hardly ever see him anymore.

I'm pretty sure he hasn't been on for a few days.

Ah, it's sad that you are growing up in a time that makes this seem true. But even now there are (a handful of) politicians who say what they mean. I'm not up on the politicians of your time zone, but as an example I propose my district's member of the US House of Representatives, Barbara Lee, the sole vote in the entire Congress against responding to the 9/11 attack with massive bombing of people who had nothing to do with it. A rare example (whether or not you agree with her position) of acting on principle regardless of what the focus groups say.
@everyone else: The purpose of this message is not to start an argument about 9/11 or US foreign policy, but merely to give an example of a brave and honest politician. In an attempt to get this past the Community Moderators , I add another example: Ron Paul, with whom I disagree about most things, but who also says what he means regardless of popularity.

It's based off a quote I heard somewhere, something about that politics is the act of saying one thing and meaning another. So I decided to use that.
But really, let's not get into a discussion about this here, as it's banned on the forums.

Has too.
I think we can deduce from his candidacy that he's made at least one post recently. But he's posted at least a few other things too. It's just that some of us are watching this thread more or less continually, so we've momentarily forgotten that during non-election season some people don't post every minute!

You know what? I think RedRocker should go for Mod. He'd be a great moderator.

He's not old enough. I believe he is 12, you need to be 13 and up to run for Moderator.
