I know, but it doesn't say anything about that in the guidelines.
It just says that you must get your parents permission.

Probably because most of the community are younger than 18.
I don't think sparks is checking with his parents, and he is.

Interesting question!  I'm not sure that one has come up before.  If you are selected for the election ballet, I suspect the Scratch Team would want to talk to you (rather than your parents) and work out some way of showing proof of age 

Yup - that's what I would think. Just a copy of a government issued ID would work for that.
