When someone puts up a game, you often find "post your scores!" in their project notes. What if there was a way to post a verified score in the comments, or certain badges for reaching certain milestones?
This idea needs work, so feel free to suggest something.

Hopefully something like this will be coming in 2.0, where the high scores will be saved online.
