I have the most painfully slow Ubuntu machine, and I know Java a bit, one thing
is this made in UNIX source code, or Ubuntu Linux source code?

And, Solar OS is nice, but there's another OS by Oracle, or Sun that is called "Solarice OS" (see my point )

Nah! I actually saw that while I was building my LightDM launcher for my custom desktop environment... It looks really nice! What launcher is on that?

Sorry, I meant to ask what Desktop Environment... I am using LightDM with the Bluebird theme (for login) and a modified background. My install started out as xubuntu but I have removed XFCE and xubuntu-desktop and replaced it with my own custom desktop environment based on Nautilus, Docky-2, and Gnome-do. I think I will upload a Project or a video showcasing this soon.
EDIT: Nevermind, it was the first question asked on your EzySqueeze thread!

Alternate Windows Shell?
For all of you future Windows 8 users, you know the design is somewhat pleasing, but is hard to get used to... I seriously miss my good old start menu/orb . I am planning to make a Windows port of this project that will replace the current shell with my new one. Tell me what you think and if you would be interested in porting this to Windows.
no... windows 8 is good.

You do? so do I! But I like the new design (yes, especially the start menu).
