Is there any way to take sounds and images out of projects so you can use them elsewhere? If so, what file would they be in? And can you get image and sound files from BYOB too? Thanks!

Images (like costumes and backgrounds) and sounds can be right-clicked on and there should be an option saying "Export". Click that and then you can save it wherever you want.
The actual location where the images and sounds are held, are in the project file. Though I have no idea how to retrieve it through there.

Just a quick note -- Kurt doesn't parse images properly just yet; at least, not in a form that can be saved to a file.
