Copy and paste in and out of scratch

I think there should be a way to copy an image off the internet and paste it directly into scratch instead of copying the image into a folder then importing it into scratch. It takes too much time

Re: Copy and paste in and out of scratch

Did you know that you can just drag any image out your web-browser into Scratch without having to save it?

Re: Copy and paste in and out of scratch

Hmm... it works for me with firefox and explorer, with any jpeg, gif, bmp or png; just drag it into the scratch window to turn it into a new costume...

Re: Copy and paste in and out of scratch

As far as I know dragging pictures from browsers directly into Scratch works (in all Scratch versions) on both mac and pc.

http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewforum.php?id=13 I literally dragged that link (to the suggestions forum) into this post. Just click it but don't release the mouse until you drag it where you want it to go (obviously I'm probably blabbering since you know how to drag). Might just be my Macinstosh though.
