It's just that I don't see the filtered words often. Maybe if more terms were added (maybe filter all popular food chains to "Sugarcube Corner", popular racing events to something involving the Wonderbolts or that one race involving leaves, and of course holidays to their respective pony equivalents. Hearth's Warming, Hearts and Hooves... tongue ) I would notice, but then it might be even more annoying for people like you. tongue

Night's Favoured Child is good and updates somewhat regularly, although not as much as I'd like. The Moonstone Cup and Our First Steps both just finished recently, so you could check those out too.

Also, if you want something longer, Dangerous Business is excellent.

The Grey Factor is finished but AMAZING. The Things We Leave Behind is also amazing, but finished. They are not huge, and they are not series, but they are REALLY REALLY GOOD.

It was an AU called Sunshine and Fire if you're interested.
At the moment I'm reading two promising AUs called Entropy and the Adventure of Trixie-Nighttime Eternal. I quite like the Three Sisters, a one shot from the featured box.
I really like AUs. :3
Especially Daymare Sun ones.
