The reference is just one small comment made by Pinkie Pie, but it's pretty easy to spot.
Earlier I said that Chapters 3 and 4 were the funniest, but I forgot about Chapter 5. Chapter 5 is truly the funniest part so far, especially the part where Mirror steals a hammer.
As I said before though, Chapter 6 is where the series begins to get darker.
