It's the creator's way of saying thanks to all of the bronies. 

Of course, the show still has to be slightly educational, otherwise it might not reach its main target audience. If it doesn't reach the target audience, they may be forced to shut the show down.

No way, Jose. Season two is still trucking, and is even better than season one!

No, what I mean is once a major member of the production crew must retire from the show, there may be some difficulty keeping it afloat. Also, ideas will be tougher to come upon 10 years from now (though with a "magic" theme for the show, more things are possible so they have more to work with.). Obviously the show's still doing great, but I dread the day when they run out of ideas. My guess is that the show will keep running well though for at least 15 more years (and if we're lucky they'll outrun the Simpsons!).

Faust already left, though, and they're still going strong.

And the shows not gonna last that long.

My guess is season three, then a movie. That's about as far as I can see it going.

Start from the first episode and watch at least 5 (In order, so you can know if you've watched all the episodes) and then make your mind up about whether you like the show or not.
